The institute is headed by Dr. Shenggen Fan, Chair Professor at China Agricultural University and former Director General of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The members of AGFEP include faculty members and researchers from China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Beijing University and AgroScope, Switzerland.
